  • Shawn Dobbins, Senior Pastor

    Pastor Shawn was called as Pastor in July 2013 after serving churches in his home state of Virginia. He earned a B.S. in Physical Education at Roanoke College; Master of Divinity, with languages at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary; and D.Min. in Church Revitalization at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Sarah, are blessed with Franklin, Isabella, and a dog named Jeter. They are rabid fans of the University of Virginia, Philadelphia Eagles, and the New York Yankees. They cheer for UK, as well as, Cincinnati and Bengals & Reds as long as they are not playing their teams.


  • Travis Benge, Pastor of Discipleship and Students

    Travis is a Northern Kentucky native and attended Dixie Heights High School. He joined the staff in 2016 after serving at local churches in the Louisville area while attending seminary. Travis graduated from the University of Kentucky with both a B.A. in Integrated strategic communication and a B.S. in Psychology. He received his Masters of Divinity at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Travis and his wife, Hannah, have four children Sophia, Elisha, Seanna, and Stella.


  • Mark Whitaker, Pastor of Worship and Missions

    Mark was raised in Bowling Green, KY and has a passion for the church to be on mission and he is a gifted musician. He joined the HBC staff in 2017 after serving at local churches in Kentucky and Alabama. Mark graduated from Campbellsville University with a Bachelor's of Music concentrating in Church Music. He also graduated with a Masters of Divinity in Church Ministry at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Mark and his wife, Wendy, have four children Sarah, Liam, Joshua, and Ezekiel.

  • Carrie Wilson, Director of Children's Ministries

    Carrie Wilson in a native of West Virginia, and received a Bachelor of Arts in Education (K-8) from Fairmont State University, a Master's of Arts in Religion from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. She previously has served as Director of Children's Ministries at churches in Virginia and Kentucky. Her husband, Jeremy, is a Deacon at HBC and they have 3 boys: Justin, Joshua, and Jack. 

  • Kaye Boots, Administrative Assistant

    Kaye is a Kentucky native and has served as the administrative assistant/financial secretary at Hebron Baptist Church since October, 2001. She graduated Georgetown College with a degree in mathematics and taught math at Conner Middle School for 28 years. She and her husband, Mason, have been members since 1966 and have two daughters and two granddaughters.

  • Terri Bungenstock, Director of CrossRoads Preschool

    Terri graduated from NKU with a BA in English Literature. After many years in the corporate world, she discovered that going to preschool every day is what she was called to do.
